THE PICTURE DAY PROJECT
Becoming an artist meant reconnecting with my inner child.
My first day as an Artist I sat down and drew my old school portrait I had pinned to my diary. I was overwhelmingly worried I had made the wrong decision, and so I confided in my inner child as a means for a guiding light. I’ve now had that drawing pinned to my diary for the last few months, and I’ve started drawing my friends, my family, family friends.
This is your invitation to let me illustrate your old school pictures - either your own inner child, or to acknowledge someone else’s spark for them - as a constant reminder of the joyful, fearless lens you saw the world through once upon a time.
THE DETAILS
Every month, 10 slots are available.
All designs will be A6 (10 × 14cm).
Each piece will be scaled automatically to match the photograph’s proportions. If you have two single portraits, but would like them drawn together, this is also possible. This does not affect the price. All artwork is unframed, and charges include tracked delivery.
For a single portrait, £95.
For two portraits on the same page, £145.
For two separate portraits, £180.
For 3+ separate portraits, these can be discussed separately based on request.
Each slot requires a high-quality scan or photo of an old school or child’s picture. I won’t be able to accept if the quality is too low.
